Join us for AMERICAN ROOTS "Honoring Our Past", Saturday, February 11, 2017!
Fun Night is the ONLY fundraiser for the Tehama County 4-H Program. Every club in the county program creates and runs carnival style game booths for EVERYONE to enjoy! Along with the games there are special contests, a silent auction, concessions, dinner, root beer floats and live entertainment. The event runs from 4-8:30PM and is held in the Cafeteria and Auditorium at the Tehama District Fairgrounds. Everyone is invited, dinner and concessions are available. The event happens annually on the 2nd Saturday in February! In order to gear up for this event, 4-H youth and adult volunteers are invited to join the Fun Night Committee! The Committee is in charge of overseeing all processes of the event, creating the main decorations and assisting during VIP Hour and the Ticket Booth. See below for more details on the Fun Night Committee.
Are you interested in joining the Fun Night Committee? Joining is a 12 month obligation, usually 5-6 meetings not including decoration meetings held during the winter. Meetings start with the wrap up meeting in March/April and end the following year at the same meeting. This allows committee members to discuss the previous event, making any necessary changes and start preparing for the next years event.
Fun Night Committee is looking for the following decorating items to be donated:
- Paper towel & toilet paper rolls
- Metal Coffee Cans
- Red, White, and blue table cloths
