Market Animal Tagging Requirements
Market Steers, Hogs, Lambs, and Goats must be owned and tagged by the dates listed below. To provide proof of ownership, the Fairgrounds Office must receive a picture of the tagged animal with the exhibitor in the picture emailed to info@tehamadistrictfair.com and a hair sample turned into the Fair Office at 650 Antelope Blvd. Red Bluff, CA by the dates listed below. Leaders or Exhibitors can pick up the tag, tag gun, and hair sample bag from the Fairgrounds Office.
- Market Steers 120 Days Prior the Fair December 31, 2024 (Tags are Available Now!)
- Market Hogs, Lambs, and Goats 60 Days Prior to the Fair March 1, 2025
Entry Deadlines
Enter online at tehamadistrictfair.com or at the Fairgrounds Office.
- Livestock Entries Friday, April 4th by 5:00 PM
- Market Animal Entries must include Bill of Sale, YQCA Certificate, and for Market Hogs Only a Prop 12 Certificate of Compliance
- Still Exhibit Entries Friday, April 11th by 5:00 PM All Youth Departments are FREE Entry!
- Floriculture & Horticulture Entries Friday, April 25th by 5:00 PM
- Horse Show Entries Online Only Wednesday, May 20th by 5:00 PM

- Large Market Animal Weigh-Ins: Wednesday, April 30th 3:00 – 6:00 PM
- Poultry Health Inspection and Weigh-Ins: Wednesday, April 30th from 1:00 – 3:00 PM
- Market Rabbit Weight Ins: Thursday, May 1st at 10:00 AM
- Mandatory Livestock Exhibitor Meeting: Wednesday, April 30th at 7:00 PM
- Junior Livestock Auction: Saturday, May 3rd at 9:00 AM – Sale of Champions at 12:00 PM
