COVID-19 Office Update
Our Tehama Cooperative Extension office and programs are currently in a “OPEN” . UC staff have been and will continue to access the office and research sites …. and are available by phone, email or voice messaging. We look forward talking and working with you.
Clients and visitors are welcome to make an appointment to talk to staff, which we can arrange, by calling the office or staff directly. All staff, clients, visitors and vendors are being asked to successfully complete a five question survey and temperature check. It is recommended that face masks be worn. We will be social distancing by keeping a 6ft spacing.
This may be the “new normal” for a while as we navigate through this pandemic and these unusual circumstances. Our concerns are protecting the health of our staff and clients, as we plan to re-open through the phases, following state, UC and county guidelines.

What is UC Cooperative Extension?
The University of California's 64 Cooperative Extension (UCCE) offices are local problem-solving centers. More than 400 campus-based specialists and county-based farm, home, and youth advisors work as teams to bring the University's research-based information to Californians. UCCE is a full partnership of federal, state, county, and private resources linked in applied research and educational outreach. UCCE tailors its programs to meet local needs. UCCE's many teaching tools include meetings, conferences, workshops, demonstrations, field days, video programs, newsletters and manuals. Thousands of volunteers extend UCCE's outreach, assisting with nutrition and 4-H youth development programs along with Master Gardener, Master Food Preserver, and Master Food Shopper education.
