Outdoor Adventures Day Camp Information
Hello 4-H Families,
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for our members this summer. If you have a 4-H member between the ages of 12 and 16, that loves the outdoors, we invite them to join us for Outdoor Adventures Day Camp.
Campers will participate in activities at locations throughout the Northern California Region including Whiskeytown National Recreation Area and Mount Shasta. Activities will include hiking, canoeing, First Aid, forestry, Project Learning Tree, completion of a service-learning project, and more.
The camp is scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday June 29th through Friday, July 2nd. Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Shasta County 4-H Office located at 1851 Hartnell Avenue in Redding.
There is a $60 activity fee to help offset the cost of camp. Campers will receive a t-shirt and other swag but will need to bring a sack lunch each day. Space is extremely limited, and we anticipate camp filling up fast, so be sure to register today!
