ANR provides ESRI software and licenses to staff and academics
Like last year, UC ANR will provide ESRI (ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online) software and licenses to UC ANR staff and academics at no cost in the coming year. Agricultural Experiment Station faculty who are affiliated with UC ANR will be eligible for one ESRI license through ANR. To access ESRI software and tools, please complete the following form.
AES staff, faculty and graduate students unaffiliated with UC ANR will not be eligible for these ANR software and licenses; those affiliated with UC Davis will need to go through software.ucdavis.edu to access these tools.
Additionally, this year members of UC ANR are eligible for free licenses for ENVI remote-sensing software, and greatly discounted licenses for Pix4D drone image processing software. For these applications, please send a request to IGIS at igis@ucanr.edu.

Please respond to survey of informatics and GIS needs, knowledge and data availability
The new Informatics and Geographic Information Systems Statewide Program (IGIS) was launched to assist and advance research and extension activities by providing Informatics and GIS tools and applications through an online Web-accessible portal.
The IGIS team needs your input to design this resource for efficient and helpful delivery of information and GIS support. Please take a few minutes to complete the “Survey of Informatics and GIS Needs, Knowledge and Data Availability” at http://ucanr.edu/sites/IGIS/IGIS_Survey. If you don’t see the survey section on the website, scroll down.
This short and comprehensive survey will assess GIS, data and information needs, evaluate your level of informatics and GIS expertise and use of geospatial tools and data. Your response will be of great assistance toward building a successful statewide program.
The survey will be available from Jan. 14 – March 15. The results will be presented at the ANR Statewide meeting in April.
Thank you!
IGIS Team
